KTC is a small, friendly and relaxed club with over 100 members. Roughly half of our members are juniors and we actively encourage juniors to join our club.

We’re underway with our Autumn block and it’s great to see so many coming down to coaching, with just over 40 players coming so far! Our Autumn block runs on Friday nights and Saturdays and more info on this can be found on our website:

Kippen held their annual Club Champs Finals day on Sunday, with Men’s Doubles, Singles and Mixed Doubles Finals all taking place.

The first match up saw Calum Warwick and Fergus Craig defeat John Wartig and Jeremy Pemberton-Piggot in a closely contested final. John and Jeremy took the first set 6-4, and Calum and Fergus battled back to win in a tight 3 sets.

Next up was the Mixed Doubles final, with Chris Jewell partnered with talented junior Sarah Gibb playing John Wartig and Karen Dekker. Chris and Sarah played a wonderful match, and were ultimately too good on the day, winning in straight sets.

Finally, Fergus Craig played Calum Warwick in the Men’s Singles. Fergus played some fantastic tennis to win the match in straight sets 6-4, 6-4, 6-4 and to take the title for the third year running. All in all, it was a hugely successful day, with a great turnout coming down to watch and support and to enjoy the tennis (or maybe just the BBQ and drinks…!)

If anyone is interested in joining the club, you can visit our website to find out more information, or drop us an email at:

Hope to see some of you at the courts soon!
